It's one thing for a candidate whose way up in the polls to back out of a debate, but not sure this is a good move for Harrison. A Democrat trying to unseat a Republican in South Carolina not only needs the debates but needs to be able to land punches. Hopefully Harrison has internal polling/data that makes him feel confident enough to do this.

Biden's campaign already has other plans. He and ABC will do a town hall of their own on the 15th and said they will be at the third and final debate the 22 Trump or no trump.
