Social security is as sustainable as private retirement. If there is no social security, that means that there is not enough people paying into the system; the same lack of people means that companies won't have customers and thus revenues and profits. Capitalism is doomed if it's think that it can keep promoting few people to the detriment of the rest of society. Customer spending is capitalism oxygen, without customer spending there won't be any services and products, manufactured by a robot or not.

You were talking about leeches in the context of universal healthcare while for me the leeches are in the context of private healthcare; insurance companies and laboratories which benefit from people's sickness.
