Interesting question. Could be he's able to stay there if the money is better and the Spurs have his rights if he comes to the NBA...??
Nikola Milutinov is the best center in Europe, and we have the rights to him. We also have a hole at backup center. I don't understand why this hasn't been done yet.

Hmmmm, interesting. I do recall that he and Duncan worked out in the past.
He might be a good insurance policy for injury/foul trouble come playoff time.
I can't see Jokic getting so many boards with a banger like Gortat in there.
There are worse backup centers out there.
Connecting flight to LA now that Cousins is down...I hope.
He was solid in Washington, but he’s worthless now. Poeltl is better and poop the moron would probably play this washed up TOSB over him smfh.
There are no connections in SA’s pos airport smh tbh.
we have direct flights from Poland to Ła but hard to connect sań Antonio - via Miami & Atlanta
It only makes sense if Poetl is traded.
Is Milutinov that good? I've heard little about him recently.
He is not.
Plus his game doesn't translate at all in the NBA. That's why he's happy in Euroleague.
Gortat is just ok but he is a smart basketball player and would do well in Spurs system.
Would you prefer Howard as your backup center?
If he replacing poetle we in trouble
Just me but think Dhoward would be good resurrection project with TD as assistant coach. Better finisher at rim than Jakob
Umm No.
I'd rather bring Alfrederick Hughes back
someone must have ed your nachos.
LOL looking that quote up I found an Express News article where Alfredrick the Great was talking about how Ice was such a mentor to him on the Spurs. WTF, Ice never played a game for the Spurs that season. And in the article he said he crashed his Mercedes racing Ice and David Greenwood by Alamo Stadium, which makes even less sense since Ice was traded for Greenwood.
howard has been bouncing around... doesn’t seemed to be liked by teammates... been given opportunities but keep bouncing around. the dude is weird. hard to get over those pictures of him in a hotel room with a 16 year old and her friend.

Drugs are bad mmmkay
Maybe he suffered from visual and audio hallucinations or delusions but that story is hilarious.
I'd rather go with Eubanks as the 3rd string center (behind Aldridge & Poeltl) than see Marcin on the squad. Keep with the youth movement and don't give in to your need of worthless veterans, Pop?
What good did having Cunningham and Pondexter on the roster last season do? Go young.....
Wouldn't mind for the minimum as that 3rd string center, tbh.
Didn't know TP was back in town as well tbh.
Apparently he crashed his car.
