    You make it to the playoffs you at least give yourself a chance to win the le. If you tank there is zero chance to win a le. I'll take my chances in a playoff run.

    I think this will be his last year he is grooming Timmy to take over but I would not mind if he stayed one more year to hopefully groom Manu.

    as i remember nobody has ever won a le from 7-8seed.

    Saying someone like Pop should retire is really silly. Pop is a lifer, he'll retire when he sees fit. There's not another coach out there who can carry his jock strap, much less coach this team to the playoffs.

    Well and truly a sub .500 coach without Duncan masking his deficiencies. Could be sub .400 by the time the old coot retires the way he's going. Most overrated coach in the history of the NBA.
