The quick backtracking on the Turkey policy should make it obvious to Trump loyalists that he is still, in fact, beholden to the Swamp.

They'll let him say his stupid so he can be the bad guy while they and their friends get their tax breaks and load up private prisons and migrant camps, but you with their foreign policy apparatus and you get slapped back down.

weak puppet POTUS. Imagine fanboying this got.

Today Trash praised Turkey as a member of NATO in good standing

and praised Kurds as excellent fighters

As the person who listened to Erdogan roll Trash over, Trash has no spine, typical less bully folding when, eg, Erdogan countered him.

It’s unclear exactly how much money Trump and his companies get from those twin structures,

which include an office tower and a residential building complete with wine cellar.

Financial disclosures suggest he’s pulled in between $3.2 million and $17 million from the arrangement

with site developer Aydin Dogan since he first launched his presidential campaign, according to a
    report in Mother Jones.

We must not criticize our NATO allies. Very dangerous to the world they said.

Look who met 3 weeks ago to discuss and make plans for Syria – Putin, Erdogan, and Rouhani

From the 14-point statement released jointly by Putin, Erdogan, and Rouhani (my italics added):

    2. Emphasized their strong commitment to the sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic . . .

    4. Discussed the situation in the northeast of Syria, emphasized that security and stability in this region can only be achieved on the basis of respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country and agreed to coordinate their efforts to this end.

    5. Rejected in this regard all attempts to create new realities on the ground under the pretext of combating terrorism, including illegitimate self-rule initiatives, and expressed their determination to stand against separatist agendas aimed at undermining the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria as well as threatening the national security of neighboring countries.

Question: With due consideration for the US presence in Syria, I would also like to ask how you assess the US presence on Syrian territory?

    Vladimir Putin:

Regarding the presence of the US Armed Forces,

it is common knowledge that their presence on Syrian territory is illegal.

And we hope that the decision to withdraw US service personnel from Syria, made by President of the United States Donald Trump will be implemented completely.
