Was expecting a little more. Maybe would have liked it a little darker and more serious. But I get they want it to appeal to a pretty broad demographic.

Did anyone else have a “holy ...is that Corey Feldman?” moment?

Yeah I thought it was one of the coreys for a split second.

I was expecting a little more explanation of baby Yoda. If that's really baby Yoda at all. The timeline doesn't match so now I'm guessing Yoda's kid.

I am glad they had a moment at the beginning of the last episode where the show was having fun with those two storm troopers. I think that's what Favreau gives it that made iron Man fun

Favreau, and Taika Waitiki ( who directed the season finale) are very good at balancing humour and seriousness

Some Marvel movies are too funny omg lulz

As for Baby Yoda he is just a baby from Yoda’s species
Yoda dieded before the Mandalorian took place

And I don’t think he’s related to Yoda either

Did they ever give a point of reference in the show that this is after Yoda?

Eh, I thought the Force runs through bloodlines

Agree. But they need to keep it consistent I think and not just an episode here or there. It was so unlike any other scene that it seemed out of place. Hopefully they continue to find a groove in the next season.

Yeah agree on the consistency with it.

That scene reminded me of this old animated flick called "wizards"

I mean, that's not impossible, he might be related to Yoda but I don't think the latter f..cked (although we did see a female Yoda on the Jedi Council)
I do hope they are not related, we've had enough of that with Rey Palpatijne and Ben Solo (Skywalker)

As for the timeline, it's set 5 years after the fall of the Empire (Return of the Jedi)
If you remember Episode 1, Mando meets his client and those are Empire clowns who were not captured

i don't think he's related to yoda, but I believe in the first episode they say the target is 50, so he and yoda existed at the same time.
