Good to hear. The first two episodes were severely underwhelming, and I was a huge fan of Rebels. Why does everyone on the show act like they just took an irresponsible amount of Xanax before the cameras rolled? Even Ryan Gosling’s character in Only God Forgives is telling them they’re acting way too lethargic.

May not be for you, but I thought it got things going pretty good. I thought the first two were a bit slow but still enjoyed them, but I was expecting them to be more expository than action filled.

Probably because I liked Rebels and this is pretty much a sequel of that show.
Nice to see Azadi and that other Rebels kid in this too
And Natalia whatshername has done a great job playing Sabine so far

Morgan Elsbeth being a Nightsister is not something I expected

Visually it's really beautiful, some nice landscape shots tbh

Ahsoka has gotten way way better since the first two episodes For Disney+ Star Wars, this is 3rd best behind Andor and Mando Season 1.

That shot has you see the son to his right somewhat more weathered. The sister's body is gone from the s up. The owl shows up in the next scene.

….and per usual, it ends like a wet fart Disney just can’t help themselves, they will completely kill the momentum of one story to start teasing the next thing.

No resolution, nothing of consequence happens (aside from one death), they straight up copied a bit from TLJ, and you don’t even see the most interesting characters until there’s 2 minutes left. They spent the entire episode setting up Season 2. FINISH TELLING THE STORY YOU’RE TELLING, AND THEN TEASE THE NEXT THING.

How does Disney suck so bad at this now, after being so great at it for years?

Aside from Andor, I’m pretty much done with Disney Star Wars. I’ve tried like to defend them, but that finale was so so so bad. BOMBARDING US WITH EASTER EGGS ISN’T A STORY.

Yeah, they 100% were. That’s my problem. They left everything in Season 1 completely unresolved. That’s not how storytelling is supposed to work.

They’ve set up the next thing, then once you get there, they get you 90% there and blueball you with an incomplete story while telling you “No no no, the NEXT thing is what you really want”. I’m done with it.
