He’s always making that face like the sun is in his eyes, and it’s really bright outside. He’s a geezer, career politician with an awful track record, bought and paid for by his donors.
And sadly, that would be a massive improvement over the current sitting president.

it, Mike Pence would be a massive improvement.

Such ty candidates. Bernie by far the bravest, but both Bernie and Liz are far too bleeding heart liberal for the country to vote for them. Harris is a joke. Biden I guess is all the dems have to offer.

Harris had her chance, but, setting up Biden like that was a 1 night hit that she has had to answer for every day since. Serves her right. I just hope like she doesn't swallow her famous black/Indian pride & sign on as his VP. I don't know if we can make it then.

He's the only one who can beat the old man, Winester. Media will not let him fall away,,,"With jacks and timbers they started back down." That's what Media will do for him. That's why they took care of his touching women fiasco back at the beginning. That wasn't by accident I assure you, son. They did the same thing for old man Bush when the doctor's said he was not long for this world. Media put his habit of goosing women from the fresh angle of sitting in the wheelchair on the front page and burned it at the stake, clearing the sceens. Then when he actually died they could fawn all over him without the (goose) news getting in the way.

See how that works, kid? God, you're a tender little babe. You don't from apple butter.

Get Ready for More of This (Annals of False Equivalency)

The issue is that, as the Post explains,

Biden over time seems to have conflated this with two or three other stories with similar themes of selfless heroism.

Biden was there in Afghanistan when Foltz’s commander, not Biden, pinned a Bronze Star on him.

So in different versions the hero is of different ages and rank, even different services.

One time Biden told the story he put the incident in Iraq rather than Afghanistan.

On its own it’s a fascinating bit of reporting putting this all together.

But the obvious gist of the piece is that

Biden, like Trump, has a lying problem

and we have to ask whether he’ll be held to the same standard.

The authors note that while Biden claimed in one retelling that

he’d been “in and out of Afghanistan and Iraq over 30 times.”

    his campaign confirmed to the
Post that he’d actually only been there 21 times. Zing!

The Post reporters lay out the stakes like this:

“One big question facing candidates and voters more than 30 years later is

whether President Trump’s routine falsehoods have changed the standards

    by which other presidential aspirants,

    including Biden, should be judged.”

And the stories are not self-aggrandizing.

They’re about other people’s bravery and suffering which, as this article in
The New Republicargued earlier this year, is the touchstone of Biden’s whole public career.

But to me this isn’t remotely like anything Trump does.

Trump is a degenerate malicious liar who does not so much lie as

he has a total indifference to the very concept of truth and

makes things up routinely to get his own way and degrade his enemies.

What interested me was that Biden was unapologetic.

His actual key quote is this:

“I was making the point how courageous these people are,

    how incredible they are,

this generation of warriors, these fallen angels we’ve lost.

I don’t know what the problem is.

What is it that I said wrong?”

I’m curious what you make of it.

    https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog...+%28TPMNews%29

I "make of it" that JB had his heart in the way about the military stories,

but getting so much of the stories wrong, lying?,

says his heart may be OK, but his mind is not OK.

I don't want a President whose mind isn't in 100% good shape. Misremembering , even in good faith, ain't gonna cut it for a President

If DNC does ram JB into the WH, I hope he would employ serious, talented, dedicated younger people who could help him.

Did you have a moment of honesty? Trump has early onset dementia or is at the very least mildly re ed.

Biden thinks being more gotcha aggressive in the next inane show "debate", as fake as pro wrestling or reality shows, will rescue his diminishing approval rating (he's still DNC/Dem establishment favorite).
