Alabama @ Mississippi State is on both ESPN and the SEC Network.
Why?!
This is stupid.
Kind of hard when your conference rules force you to play a round-robin schedule every year.
Alabama @ Mississippi State is on both ESPN and the SEC Network.
Why?!
This is stupid.
Tua injured and just been carted off. Don't know why he was needed when the team was up 35-7.
That's like showing it on ESPN and ESPN2.
Heisman stat padding?
Bama was going for style points
ing Bears choked away their season. How do you lose at home with a 21 point second half lead?
Well at least Bama isn't winning this year and I'm happy for that.
they really needed that break on the really bad snap but Jalen Hurts even with his black brain made the smart decision within the rules under the heat of the moment.
Methlahoma, tbh.
No Texas teams in the Playoffs AGAIN. Another boring year for the NCAAF. Boring decade, tbh.
What major change occurred this decade? The playoff. It backfired. Essentially made the regular season meaningless. There use to be a sense of accomplishment when you won the New Years bowls and I think that was also eliminated with the creation of the playoff.
How many undefeated seasons for Bama and yet Dynasty. That is fishy. But that falls under the SEC bias which seemed to start in the mid-late 2000's when 1-lose Florida steamrolled tOSU. Tebow was never part of an undefeated team and yet has 2 rings. That is fishy.
But I also think the Pac10s collapse and other historic powers such as Miami, Nebraska or even Tennessee being has taken shine off. Michigan, Texas and USC stuck in mediocrity. Clemson and Georgia broke out. And I guess ND played in a BCS le game and a playoff. I didn't mention FSU because they played in a playoff within the past 5 years but their collapse has made the ACC a 1-team Conference. Same you could say with Big10 and Big12 the past 5 years. That is probably the main reason for the lackluster product.
To be fair. Florida State’s first championship was a one loss team who got in over Notre Dame despite losing to Notre Dame that season. Pretty fishy. The same thing happened in 2000 when FSU got to the championship game over Miami despite losing to Miami that season who also had one loss. Fishy.
ND not being in a conference is fishy.
That is certaintly fair. It did occur. I will compare BCS and CFB Playoff
BCS had 16 champions
1 or more loses: 6 times (All SEC)
~ 37%
CFB Playoff has had 5 champions
1 or more losses: 4 times
~ 80%
Undefeated season is part of the glamore of CFB. And that seems to also have been negatively effected. IMO the move backfired and at this point they might as well move to 6 or even 8 playoff teams
Ultimately worthless sense of accomplishment. The only people that remember new year's day victories are the fans of those schools. Playing for a le is all that's ever mattered.
It's not fishy. Just outright greedy
christianity, tbh
ND / BYU
agreed. the BCS bowls were pretty much the equivalent of loser's brackets, or the NIT in basketball.
undefeated is pretty lame imo. I prefer the story of coming back off a tough loss
Especially Baylor
With replay.
SoonerRef awarding 1st down to seal the deal. Fishy.
Bama still alive! Yess.
Bama? I would hope the committee would factor in the Tua injury and putting the best/most compe ive 4 teams in the playoffs.
Duck the injury.it's such a cop out that that's why they won't be put in the playoff. This team deserves to not be in for that schedule. Its.so ducking . Unjustifiable. SEC need to schedule one less pic game.and one more in conference. If they dont,no way should they always have two teams inn the playoff.
gies about to learn what “ass to mouth” really means in Tiger stadium.
