Philly, Pats and Chiefs look like the only safe calls
Philly, Pats and Chiefs look like the only safe calls
Teams used through 4 weeks:
Eagles
Ravens
Cowboys
Chargers
Week 5 Pick: Chiefs over Colts
I'm leary of the chiefs game. I'd take Houston over Atlanta before that one.
Anyone playing Cards might be a safe bet
colts don't have a competent QB, and the game is in KC. Also, KC has started 5-0 three years in a row, they're a fast starting team, Reid is a front runner, even with Alice Smith.
Except the 0-3 (probably 0-4 after tonight) Bengals coming off of a short week. This is one of the Cardinals few games that the players know they have a chance to win.
Huh? Brisset has looked all the part of a competent QB. It's their run game that's been hit or miss but that could be a hit against the chiefs D.
It should be a W for the chiefs but it's a trap game, imo
Good point, didn't see it was the bengirls
professional franchise that literally nobody cares exists. I was in Cincinnati for a month and they were all Steelers (majority), Packers, Bears or Cowboys fans.
I believe it.
But Steelers fans are a sneaky huge group. I couldn't believe how many were at the game when I went to see the Cowboys about 6-7 years ago
it's strange how the Steelers and Packers have 2 of the largest fanbases and they're from 2 really small rust belt cities that are complete afterthoughts in today's USA
Ya if thinking long term and attempting to run the table (very difficult) this would be a game to try to get the Cards or Bengals out of the way.
Bugles are complete garbage. At least Zona can be fun at times.
I was almost tempted to pick Green Bay over Dallas to hedge my emotions a bit, also since Green Bay always tends to win in Dallas, and GB faces a tough division with no real gimmes on the schedule.. but then again the Garrett Cowboys always play best the week after a loss.
Fun fact: The Cowboys did not lose 2 weeks in a row last year, and barring the absence of their best player, they have not lost two weeks in a row since Weeks 14 and 15 of 2013.. (the Week 15 loss was at home against Matt Flynn's Packers). Basically with a reasonably full deck the Garrett Cowboys haven't lost 2 straight weeks in almost 6 years, that's impressive.
I'm iffy on that one
Atlanta sucks against the AFC but Houston sucks against the NFC
there's your big insult to injury tbh
just a rotten, rotten day overall, probably worse than being the school aged son of someone on the 105th floor of the north tower on 9/11
Week 6
Baltimore over Cinci
Tempted to take one of Redskins vs Dolphins (gotta take them sometime if one is gonna run the table).
Sticking with Baltimore.
Calm down
Baltimore over Cincy

My picks so far:
Seahawks, Patriots, Cowboys, Chargers, Eagles
i'd usually at least wait until the week is over, but i'll just go ahead and say im taking the ravens over bengals next week
I'll go ahead and play out the string, I guess.
3 mandatory straight-up picks for 3 weeks, by my own rules, to get back in the game. Only one "team eliminator" though, that I can't pick that team the rest of the season. Will be denoted by *.
Ravens* over Bengals
Saints over Jaguars - not a believer in Minshew and the Saints have the best overall team in the NFL
Redskins over Dolphins - I'm a Bill Callahan fan and they will run the ball often and effectively with him in charge
Week 1) Eagles
Week 2) Texans
Week 3) Cowboys
Week 4) Chargers
Week 5) Chiefs
Week 6) Ravens ??
