Never heard of Cars, but RIP anyway
Never heard of Cars, but RIP anyway
how did he die? i know he was always a dangerous type
They were a big deal in their day
Bye Bye Love
I'll put some Cars on the playlist and let the good times roll in his memory.
Something about his best friend's girl. Yeah yeah yeah
Just imagine when you're out and had a few. Who's going to drive you home tonight? We know your boyfriend will but hypothetically speaking.
oh that was his friend's girl? pretty sure she used to be his
not a fan of that band, but RIP nonetheless... he was 70, so possibly heart condition?
Ric O did a good Candy O.
Actually Ben Orr and not Ric Ocasek who sang that one.
All those puns, and you guys missed the most obvious one....
New Wave rock
When I think of playful easy going "80's music", the Cars certainly come to mind
Looks like Eddie Money found someone to give that other ticket to paradise to...
I love the Cars. RIP.
yeah that was a tough one too
i didnt want to let go, but he saw the light
Yup, it left me shakin that no one was taking them home tonight...except the hearse to the funeral home.
He was 75, had heart disease. The "dangerous type".
Legit rock band, tbh.
flying like a cement kite, yeah...
And I know
We've gone
too far
Uh oh
I touched
Your star
*played to horse riding music*
My father introduced me to that stuff.
I like it. Rockabilly type new wave, Touch and Go.
Literally just learned "Just What I Needed" was not sing by Ric Ocasek and it kind of blew my mind. It was the other guy.
didn't know that either. and i was thinking to myself no, that cant make sense... and then i learned that the the same guy sang "bye bye love", "lets go", and "drive" as well... which collectively are some of their biggest hits
I forgot how good an album Candy-O is.
"Drive" was the only one where he sounded like a different singer. I had always assumed that was his one hit and that Ocasek sang the rest.
