Did I hear RR say "oligarchy" is the problem?

    Great idea in theory.

    In practice, ain't gonna happen

eg, the evangelical so-called Christian supremacists will always vote for God, Gays, Guns, and with White Euro-Male Supremacists.

And then their the oligarchy's weaponizing of the archaic, ed up Cons ution.

    BigHealthCare is an extractive industry

The Health Care Industry Poses an Existential Threat to the Middle Class

    : “
Families Go Deep in Debt to Stay in the Middle Class.”

consumer debt in the United States hit $14 trillion in the first quarter of the year, a level not seen since just before the financial crash of 2008.

since 1990, health care costs have risen 276 percent as wages, when adjusting for inflation, have barely grown at all.

as of 2017, nearly one-third of income in the average American household is consumed by spending on health insurance.

That’s more than double what insurance cost families in 1999.

passed cost increases onto companies that provide health insurance to their workers.

That has forced companies to freeze and even lower employee wages to continue providing health insurance.

forced middle-class families to take out record amounts of high-interest credit card debt and unsecured personal loans to pay the bills.

The cost to attend college, buy a car, take out a mortgage and get needed medical care are all much higher today than 30 years ago.

But because tens of millions of Americans receive health insurance through their employer, high health care costs have prevented millions of American families from seeing larger paychecks.

That is not true for any other major expense.

The money employers otherwise would have given their workers in raises is going instead to health insurance companies.

I don't think most leftists wants open borders but the endless focus on immigration by liberal media and Democrats sure makes it seem that way. Democrats can easily win if instead of focusing so much on immigration they would focus on healthcare, education and ending the wars. But of course the majority of Democrats have the same elite donors as Republicans. They strangle themselves by being so corrupt therefore have not much to offer.

    THEY ARE PAID TO LOSE.

The brilliance of the oligarchy/Repug political strategy is to convince Repug voters to vote against their own financial interests, decade after decade, by gulling them with God Guns Gays, and abortion.
