i swear if this team benches Minshew for Foles after the bye i will lose my
Cut Foles and still pay him his salary so BDN can go back to the Eagles on the Jags' dime tbh.

Yeah with all these 300 yard passing games being tossed around and records being smashed, just imagine if these guys actually had any skill

nah this kid just proved he could play qb with a crap oline and inconsistent running game and absolutely no tight end. Fix all that and this kid will be a star. Time to let Foles earn his contract and let the kid take in more film study.

Bortles was a raw old school statue like Wentz/Trubisky etc. Total coin flip. One end you get Trubisky (Captain Checkdown), the other end you get Wentz who is one injury away from losing all those physical advantages.

Minshew is a in stud like Mahomes (not the same arm but can sling it with touch) who ran the same type of college offense Mahomes ran at Tech. He's the prototypical new era shootout QB. Unless you want to ball it and go Lamar Jackson/Dak/Cam Newton style

Minshew's ceiling is Favre/Brees and floor is Doug Flutie.

I’m not sure where you got that from bro. I was against drafting him to begin with. He’s left handed but throws righty. You’ve got to be ing kidding me. I applauded him when he cut down the turnovers and stayed within the offense in 2017 for the AFC champ run. But I always new bortles wasn’t a franchise qb. Dude couldn’t read defenses and lead his receivers open. He would constantly up routine pass plays like a 5 yard slant by throwing behind the recover and getting it picked off. I was happy the Jags finally moved away from him and now have two capable accurate passers.

I wouldn’t say trash. Very mediocre is probably more accurate. Low tier starter/top tier backup is where he falls imo

    Better arm than Lamar Jackson
    More accurate than Josh Allen
More compe ive than Kirk Cousins
Better college numbers than pretty much all of the playoff starters sans Watson, Mahomes

Most better starters were random finds. Look at Tannehill for instance. Doing decently, random dude. All of the big name school QBs tend to suck ass in NFL (Mayfield, Josh Rosen, etc). Tua, if he comes out, will suck, just like other big names Mariota, Joey Harrington, etc. only one I can think of that is decent from a big name school is Stafford
