If we could somehow replay our history and see what we had to go through as a fledgling democracy and why the founding fathers are turning flips in their graves people would understand the severity of that call, and just the call. The other add ones are important, but my God...

Im thinking we have been too strong for too long, we may need to Have our bearings reset by feeling a true dictator. A true stress test is taking place because we clearly have a portion of the population in the grips of a personality and not a set of ideas. The blue team is at fault as well for trying to create divisions. Deplorable dumb ass country fcks and such... Trump just upped the division tactic ten fold. I have been guilty as well because it’s so frustrating.

Trumps incendiary rhetoric insures that someone will go ape- when he is removed from office, either through impeachment (unlikely), or losing the next election (very likely).

Trump, if he doesn't lose gracefully (he will not lose gracefully), will say the election is "rigged", and stir up his followers into a frenzy. In this he will be amplified by Russian disinformation efforts, as a lot of his messaging has been, and still is.

There will be at least one violent act when that happens. Some have already started planning for it.

I do not say this kind of thing lightly, and I assess this with a high degree of confidence, also something I do rarely.

Seriously would prefer to be wrong, but that is the arc I see us on.
