Dems taking over the Senate and the White House in 2020 isn't far-fetched.
The President himself had an opportunity to be present, along with Colludy Rudy, etc. He REFUSED. He also blocked witnesses from testifying. If someone could exonerate him, the Secret Service couldn't get them there fast enough!
The Russianpublicans didn't even argue the facts. They couldn't. They argued the process which is rich because the Dems followed their rules to a tee. It's now "unfair" and a "sham" now that the shoe is on the other foot.
But, like with the Mueller Report, he didn't testify himself (Bill Clinton did at his impeachment; even Hillary endured hours upon hours of Repug scrutiny in person re: Benghazi; Hillary got bigger balls - and hands than Trump). Let's assume Dems keep the House, win the WH, but don't take the Senate?
The Senate Repugs, even if BigFinance can't Moscow Mitch his reelection, will continue to OBSTRUCT everything coming from the Dem House.
Let's assume the Dems take all three.
They simply cannot undue the long-lasting damage that the Repugs have done to govt and USA over they past 10 years.
eg, Dems restore $100Ms to the IRS? simply won't happen.
Rebuild the Exec's horrible loss of ins utional wisdom and experience? won't happen, can't happen.
Trash will continue to destroy the Exec branch in 2020, esp in revenge against the Dems, and
Senate Repugs will continue to approve ABA-unapproved, ignorant, inexperienced, incompetent, young extreme right wing political hacks as Federal judges.
Even if the Dems win WH and Senate in 2020, their historic fecklessnes as silent accomplices with the Repugs/oligarchy will accomplish nothing significant.
Note how the Dem BigDollar establishment is marginalizing progressive Congress people AND progressive candidates, abetted by even lefty media, which is after all, BigCorp media.
