Democrats to reveal evidence against Trump that ‘nobody has seen before’ during his trial

Sounds like over promising and over shooting. I guess though that’s what dems do so per par.

There's one argument for Trump's impeachment that will solidify public support against the former president

Tribe, who has tried three-dozen cases before the U.S. Supreme Court explained that

the case being made against Trump for inciting insurrection was a case of treason.

"As to the proof, it is absolutely compelling and when

the nation watches in chilling detail how the president exulted in the mob

that crushed and killed cops and

threatened to take the life of the vice president and threatened to assassinate the Speaker of the House,"

"I think that the country's opinion will solidify against the president of the United States --

at least the guy that was president

when he violated his oath and he committed what amounts to treason,"

"And I use that word carefully, because

he was waging war against the United States,

what Article III [of the Cons ution] defines as treason.,"

    NOT

the FIRST time trump committed treason...

    i said after HELSINKI

    that...

    1) russia attacked the usa election
    2) trump aided and abetted the enemy who attacked the usa
    3) trump assisted russia for years - labeling russias attack as a “hoax” and obstructing the investigation of this attack

twice committed treason in four years

And the obstructed Mueller 9 impeachable times,

Mueller's investigation was abysmally blocked, incomplete

and Pelosi said was "nothing" impeachable.

Pelosi as co-conspirator with Trash and his mafiya.

What a joke of a country where the defendant can silence the plaintiff.

Trump’s Lawyers Argue He Could Not Be Behind Something As Well-organized As Riot

WASHINGTON - On the eve of his impeachment trial, Donald J. Trump’s defense lawyers argued that their client could not possibly be behind something as well-organized as the Capitol riot.

“From his multiple business failures to his chaotic pandemic response,

Donald J. Trump has shown himself to be unequal to every task,” the lawyers argued.

“He could not organize a bake sale.”

Additionally, they said, “We plan to show that the logistical challenges of the January 6 riot were

galaxies beyond the capabilities of Donald J. Trump,

who possesses the executive function of a marmoset.”

For their part, the House impeachment managers said that

they plan to counter this argument with a claim of “temporary competence.”

Heh, I can wait. This will be in the news for years, as the trials drag on. That "stupid games" thread will be epic. And I will be mentioning Derp hundreds of times. He has very studiously avoided it, so I am guessing it bugs the out of him.

Trump isn’t getting convicted no matter what, but the impeachment team is doing a 10x better job presenting this time around. Thank god Adam Schitt isn’t a part of it this time.

He needs to get convicted first iirc, it needs to be a 67 senator conviction before you just need a majority vote to disqualify.

(If you just needed a simple majority to disqualify, we would have without a doubt seen the Republicans do it with Hillary in 2015 or 2016 when they had a majority in both houses)

Manu Raju from CNN said he spoke with a few republican senators and said the dems did way better now than last time. But they still think it's unscon utional.

I'd cancel the trial if I was the dems. Barring Trump from running again is an absolute gift to republicans.

Dems owe all their fortunes to Trump so as long as he's the face of the republican party, they'll continue to win.

There’s not a chance he’ll get barred, so the Dems are doing the right thing getting 40+ out of the 50 Republican senators on the record voting to defend Trump.

Why not get the GOP senators on record by name as voting in favor of the coup?
