Kurt Volker did not resign: A spokesperson for Arizona State University told CNN that the former US special envoy to Ukraine is still the executive director of the McCain Ins ute. CNN reported earlier that Volker was planning to resign, according to a source familiar with the matter. Volker met with staff of the ins ute and two sources familiar with the meeting tell CNN that Volker did not resign in a staff meeting and said he has no imminent plans to resign.

WH can't blackmail someone who resigns their office (or retires). Can't do that to a private citizen (like they did by restricting testimony during the Kavanaugh fiasco).
They'll be able to patriotically speak freely and give up the goods on the entire WH.

Because I know the only reason David Dennison is a free man right now is because of Moscow Mitch and his minions.
