Seeing nothing wrong with the call, then going directly to the NSC lawyer to put a lid in it is an interesting sequence of events.

It was interesting watching Volker, an obviously smart guy, pretend to be clueless about what was going on all around him.

Today we saw two reluctant witnesses who were basically compelled by their own oaths and the testimony of others, to give derogatory information about Trump's bid to get Ukraine involved in his campaign for reelection.

You say that as if it’s a matter of fact. CNN believed (hoped) that Zelensky might say something like in a scheduled interview, but the interview never happened. Zelensky never confirmed CNN’s belief, sooo....? You got something different?

Zelensky would have been a much more effective whistleblower imvho “hey this guy is threatening to withhold aid if we don’t investigate a political opponent!”. Why has Zelensky NEVER said this? Why has he said the exact opposite of what trump is being accused of?”

Zelensky is newly elected brand new to this crap called politics, he does not want to upset EITHER side. Especially when he is most likely told by any advisors that they have no idea where this problem in the US will end up. He certainly has to know Trump will get through the Senate no matter what he says. Zelensky can’t out anyone, he will ruin his own position immediately.

It makes perfect sense Zelensky stays the out of it. People pretend to know the Ukrainian side and they don’t know . The new guy basically had no idea what WAS going on to begin with, he will say he is glad to have the support of the US. Why would he say anything else? He needs our help, not get involved in our domestic politics.

no. i dont have time to watch the hearings live during the work day. but its not that difficult to find transcripts of the proceedings posted online, which i read/skim through at night at my leisure

i do pop in here during the day to get some of the headlines/soundbites and reactions.

you have told us that you have a single source filter everything for you and spit out a convenient narrative that you adopt wholesale, since you cant be bothered to do your own analysis/thinking and come to your own conclusion. for whatever reason you're willing to display your gullibility to that degree and yet are reluctant to divulge this source. it implies embarrassment as you know its probably ridiculous
