Nike must've lowballed him, but hopefully he cashed out even if NB (in the basketball market) is an inferior brand.

    Good for him.

(As long as he's not planning on playing with a variation of Nephew's shoes that is)

hasn’t NB had like, a huge issue keeping up demand for kawhi’s shoe or something?

who the is in charge of that over there? can’t believe how much $ they’ve missed out on from hawking kawhi gear.

Nobody wants to wear their crappy shoes. It isn’t a problem meeting demand, there just isn’t any. Jordan could leave Nike, start his own NB line, and no one would buy it.

    it’s the opposite problem.

Every OMN1S drop has been super limited and reselling for a ton.

kawhi is doing something different. better than being with team adididas...even that ing idiot Donovan Mitc has a shoe

Low ball him? Why would Nike even want him?

Because he's a NBA player and nearly all of them have an endorsement shoe contract. Few players (P.J. Tucker being the main example) wear their own personal collection. Also, I don't believe individual teams supply each player with shoes solely.

    Exactly.

    1. Nike / Jordan
    2. Adidas

everything else is tier. With something like New Balance, you might as well be buying Airwalk from Payless Shoesource or Faded Glory from Walmart.

there's a reason my shoe collection is:

-my old worn daily work shoes (SAS shoes)
-2 pairs of sandals (my usuals and a brown beachy pair)
-A nice pair of sperrys (that have held up in perfect condition since college)
-1 pair of expensive all black shoes
-My fancy rhino ivory tall boots that my dad gave me
    -5 pairs of nikes

I don't even have a pair of Adidas anymore. What's the point?

Kawhi is a god, nothing wrong with that. Just because he spurned the Spurs and the once-great franchise is now stuck rotting with a Corey Maggette clone as their "star", doesn't make Kawhi not a future HOF and GOAT candidate

I love me some basketball shoes. Always have. People forget though that nobody wore adidas b-ball shoes back in the day. It wasn’t til Tmac came out with his shoe (and telfair) that they really started to take off. Back n the day it was Reebok vs Nike with fila in 3rd place. even and 1 was bigger than adidas in the b-ball world.

Now adidas has all these stars and slot of people are repot their shoes. I personally won’t wear New Balance b-ball shoes bc at new balance but maybe Kawhi can pave the road for them.

Oddly enough my pair of boots were given to me by my dad in Pennsylvania. I don't do the Western style brown boots, though. I'm virtually the opposite of a "country boy".

nobody wears new balance (except maybe for that model that looks like the Air Max 90). I have never seen a rapper or sneaker collector come out saying he's wearing the new Kawhi's

Kawhi's shoes have been selling out immediately whenever they get released... But I get it... Ppl acting like the opposite is true makes them feel better
