To all those trashing Derrick White, it's just preseason

Anyone really rooting against any of these players are not true Spurs fans. Murray's Instagram/Youtube antics were not very appealing but he is young and he does seem to have his head on straighter now a days and is working hard. White has always seemed to have great character and shown great potential but it's obvious he has been inconsistent. Why that is will probably show up this year. Teams are keying in on him now and know what he's capable of. It is up to him on whether he can really play pg and/or shoot a consistent jumper which is what he will need to stick in the NBA as a 30 mpg+ guy. Luckily both these players are great defenders that have proven they can be on any NBA roster.

He’s stuck between passing the ball or taking the shot, and deferring too much. He’s an Alpha. Just unleash the kid. I think he could be best used playing combo guard. Let White be creative in scoring. The kid has a lot in his arsenal.

it's the same with Walker. It was the same with Aldridge when he first got here. Kyle Anderson too. That's on the coach, he has to tell those guys to be more aggressive offensively and look for their own shot
