most definitely needs to be given more credit but one game is too small of a sample size. seems like a fluke game to me. would love to see more attempts over the course of the preseason but there wasn't.

You know with his recent international performance, Mills might have a window as a trade-able asset. Some NBA ex will be oversold on him.
It was dislocated. Rockets being Rockets by not caring for their players health. DAntoni will run down that team. If it was any other team, Westbrook will be out. Rockets are all hype again and will burn out by post season. Its the same old NBA story. Organizations are who we thought they are. And the Spurs? Time after time the Spurs have proven they are ahead of the curve and people dont think they would prepare their young players when theyre ripe. Lonnie is ripe. I guarantee you Pop knows that. And Pop being Pop is doing Mills and Beli a favor by not burying them deep in the bench for a promising player and instead is trying to find a new home for them.

For years, I've been hoping that Brett Brown would do us a solid and take him off our hands. If he doesn't want him, we're pretty much stuck with him, tbh.

It's funny. This team is desperate for three point shooting. Yet, we unfortunately traded Davis for nothing, and people on here want to get rid of Mills and Belli ASAP.

More people are just fed up with overplaying them and everything they give back to other teams because of their defense. If Pop would just stick them in the Steve Kerr role, instead of making them rotation players, people wouldn't care as much.
Forbes proved himself in the playoffs but he still shouldn't start in optimal cir stances.
Murray, DeRozan, Gay, Carroll are enough. We dont need one dimensional 3 pt specialists like Bertans, Mills, Beli anymore. Our players are good enough to shoot the 3s.

Belinelli is fine as your 11th man. Somebody you sub in occassionally when nothing is falling or you're down 10+ and have to make a run. Pop just has to let Walker be the 10th man and slide Beli to 11th.
What's more concerning to me is that Carroll and Lyles look like pure garbage and we are paying them 5.5 million per year each. With the way they have performed upto now, Šamanić has a legit chance to start at PF

I see no reason why Luka shouldn’t be starting by January. Lyles is trash and he isn’t going to get any better bc he has sucked at 2 well run franchises before he even got to us. Carrol is done too. I liked him as an 11th man not as a starter.
Luka needs time to bulk up and learn the system but he can dribble a bit, can pass a bit, and knock down a 3. It seems like a no brainer to start him early February except for

We all knew Lyles was a cheap reclamation replacement project coming to the team. The Spurs are not miracle workers, can't expect them to turn things around this fast(if ever). At least Lyles so far looks like he is committed to working hard and is a team player. Would much rather have him around the rest of the team than that headcase Morris, even if Morris can produce more in games.
