I used the NBA Playoff Predictor simulator. So all the games add up properly.
Not as crazy as the Kings winning 57 or Brooklyn winning 55.
I'm not going to reconcile each times wins and losses so it adds up to 82 games but here are my ballpark predictions:
West:
50-55 wins: Clippers, Lakers, Nuggets, Rockets
45-49 wins: Jazz, Spurs, Blazers, Warriors
35-40 wins: Kings, Mavs (both fighting for 8th seed)
28-33 wins: Suns, Pelicans, OKC
20-25 wins: Grizzles, T-Wolves
East:
57-60 wins: 76ers, Bucks
52-56 wins: Heat, Pacers
48-51 wins: Celtics
40-45 wins: Raptors, Pistons, Magic
30-35 wins: Wizards, Hornets
25-29 wins: Bulls, Hawks
20-24 wins: Cavs, Knicks
1) there are 8 teams you listed above the Kings and Mavs, and no way the 8th seed out west finishes below .500, don't think that has happened this century. the top 8 teams will all finish with at least close to 50 wins or better.
2) you completely left the Nets out
I think the Kings are very deep and very good and Kyrie will have a Jason Kidd- like impact on the Nets
Now the Warriors will be meh, the refs will not put up with Draymond’s antics. I expect his leash to be a lot shorter this year.
We are only - two weeks in and those predictions are beyond silly... Except Suns ironically... But it's early
throw out the Kings and they look good honestly.
If you allso Throw out Warriors, Jazz and Brooklyn ...maybe.
