didn't know, there was a big football home game for the Dallas team

tbh NBC got a lot of flack for not interrupting the Cowboys game in time for the tornado. Eventually the guy did (way too late), but he was panting faster than mookie rushing out of a salad bar because he knew he had to get back to the game quickly. Maybe 30 seconds of coverage for an EF3

The funny part was I was actually at a restaurant during the game, and in the bar area whenever they eventually interrupted the game for the tornado the mongoloid Cowboy fans watching started booing and cursing at the TV

I was at a bar/club place in Lewisville watching the game so a pretty long ways from the tornado. The satellite TV in the bar went out just before halftime but came back on just in time for the Maher 63 yard kick. All the bads happened very far south (at least a couple tollways south) of where I live and work, fortunately.

F3 tornado in upper 50s degree weather is very rare, though not unheard-of... the December 26 F4 tornado that started around 635/75 and strengthened over Garland and Rowlett happened in much colder and less favorable conditions

Basically, Dallas has to lead the world in number of "night 'nadoes" and out-of-season tornadoes... pretty dubious distinction and one of the many reasons I want to get the out of here ASAP.

Odd thing is last Sunday night's tornado directly struck the Milliman building just North of Vickery Meadow but didn't damage that property except for a smallish downed tree.

Looks like the Dallas area got it pretty good. Just missed us in Tyler. Isn't over yet. Hearing lots of damage around the East Texas area though

Huge line of storms heading all the way up into Quebec. But the south end appears to be San Marcos. Seems like every line of storms that comes through Texas this year misses San Antonio by ~30 miles.

Yep. Hopefully the dry line is moving east and north with climate change.
