Now, it will be interesting to see what they do with White next year. Does he get an extension too and for how much?

Some factors:

1. White will be 26 by then. This will be the only "big" contract he can sign in his twenties and physical prime.
2. Spurs seem to view him as a backup. What does that mean in terms of money?
3. He doesn't have the injury history DJ had.
4. White is possibly closer to his ceiling than DJ.
