even with Klay the Dubs wouldn't win . They will have to play a bunch of scrubs who average 4 PPG, basically G-League players

Dunno, but that's another roadblock they don't gotta worry about.

I think they might be worse than last season, but the gap between them and the best team in the league (whoever that even is) is a lot smaller than last year.

The list of contenders, defined as "a puncher's chance to take down the best team", should be much longer this year than when the KD Dubs dominated the landscape.

    Agreed on all counts...
I think Rox could slip or even have the #1 seed in the West... But I'm pretty damn sure they won't ring come June.

Warriors should be the favorite. They have a COY in Kerr, unanimous MVP Steph, and the greatest defender anybody has ever seen in Draymond. Plus they’re light years ahead of the league. I don’t see how they don’t win this year

I think that's what's most exciting about the NBA this year- for the first time in a loonnnggg time, the league feels wide open. There are no proven juggernauts standing, the defending champion isn't the same team that won the le in June.

No one is the decided "best team" in the league beyond what's on paper.

Jordan said he'd stick with Hakeem Olajuwon, Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson and James Worthy as his teammates on his fantasy starting five.

That's a beastly squad... Magic is the only mediocre defender but rebounds better than Pippen but let's be real it's a subliminal shot at Bron...

Interesting he didn't have Bird in there.

Jordan always had a thing for Worthy. The UNC thing goes deep.

Would seem Twinky Kerr was given the go ahead to spill this PR style.
In large part, yes. To show how much they care about Klanus and certainly wouldn't put a players health in jeopardy.

No Durant, no Klay, James Haren must be relieved, he can finally beat the Warriors in a playoff series. I think

Pippen was the one he chose over Bird. Worthy was a PF when he played at UNC and could not defend modern 3s and Bird can't even defend modern PFs much less SF. We all know bird is great but having Bird and magic compromises the defense...
But yes Worthy is a Homer pick.. But he does have better playoff and Finals numbers MJ gotta respect a big game player.
