I dunno how hollywood works, bro

Before I continue, though, Kobe is a global star not local like Duncan

    Kobe: 1 oscar

Duncan: Getting pop a cup of gatorade
It doesn't really matter what Kobe did after he retired. Tim Duncan will always be ranked higher than Kobe Bryant and has more accolades.

Kobe will always be mentioned along with Harvey Weinstein and Roman Polanski because he's a sexual predator.

Nobody seems to bring that up besides his haters, tbh. Duncan will be forgotten though, ranks don't matter when 50 years from now "Kobe Bryant" will get people talking about the old days of basketball and "Tim Duncan" will just give people a puzzled look.

Kobe won the legacy battle, he's turned the chapter on his life now while Duncan is just toweling off the spur starters in the locker room.

Kobestans won't ever see their hero in any other light, right up there with the Naruto, but the ROTW see him like this.

Kobe Bryant was ranked 14th in a list of the 50 greatest NBA players of all time, behind Shaquille O'Neal (sixth), Tim Duncan (seventh), and Magic Johnson (fourth).

I never thought he did it, tbh. Woman had like 11 different semen samples in her panties, Kobe is a good target for women who are looking for child support or a quick buck in court.

Me either, but he's an idiot for being a superstar multimillionaire with billionaire capability and ing some little trashy skank while his wife is busy miscarrying. I thought he was untouchable before that. The 1st world isn't becoming more "maybe he was innocent" friendly. As time passes, anyone who even remotely is connected to some like this is going to be ostracized and be radioactive for the new generation of social media pleasers.

So Kobe’s rank is dropping by the year and you think basketball fans will somehow think he’s better 50 years from now? At this rate kobe won’t even be a top 30 player in 50 years.

That's just stupid to me. There aren't 10 players in nba history who were better than Kobe Bryant. I'm a Spurs fan, hate the Lakers, but got to respect the guy.

    Jordan
    Kareem
    Magic
    Bird
    Duncan
    Lebron
    Hakeem
    Moses
    Shaq
    Wilt
    Russell
    Oscar

Durant curry and harden are on the way

Realistically, when you look at the whole body of work, Kobe is really on the level of Robinson, dirk, Garnett, wade and such. He just happened to have the best frontlines in the league with him playing a complimentary role.

His failures during his absolute prime was routinely got ignored.

Hakeem was probably the greatest center of all time at his peak, but it was short. Also got his two rings when Jordan wasn't playing or was rusty from retirement. Also his accolades just don't matchup to Kobes. Kobe was better. Moses Malone only has one ring. Yeah he has more mvps than kobe, but 5 rings are more significant than 3 mvps. Oscar Robertson, one ring getting carried by Kareem. Also, people really overrated the triple double. So yeah, Kobe should be top 10.

Also, people need to realize that luck plays a part in being all time great too. Yes, Kobe was lucky to be on the same team as prime Shaq and get 3 rings. But, hate to say it, Duncan was also lucky to get drafted by the Spurs. Replace Duncan with prime Hakeem, I think they win the same number of rings.

So shaq got the three finals mvp along with one mvp during that run but somehow Kobe should get credit for th alpha rings?

Hakeem’s statistical prime was before he won the rings.

Moses was bullying Kareem around in their primes

Duncan and Hakeem have totally different games. I don’t agree with it but it doesn’t matter in this argument because both are better than Kobe.

I can never understand the ring argument.

All the pundits agree Kobe is outside the top 10 so I don't know why it should cause anyone to raise an eyebrow that you feel differently.
