I believe we are undefeated in retirement ceremony games if I’m not mistaken, at least in the 2000’s. So there’s hope.

That's because they're cherry-picked to be some of the easiest games on the schedule.

To be honest, I've been to all the jersey retirements starting with Robinson and I don't remember a loss in any of them (Robinson, Elliott, AJ, Bowen, TD or Manu). IIRC, the Spurs were struggling against the Jazz on Robinson's jersey retirement night but they pulled it out.

Spurs beat the Cavs in the last minute before Ginobili's jersey retirement. I expect this game to be similar. Maybe Aldridge scores more than 3 points and they'll win it, but every game is a tough game for this team
