Silver lining? It's the middle of ing November.
I'm not calling this season over but it looks like the team has checked out on Pop. This may be a good thing because I'm done with the LMA and to a lesser extent, the DDR era. These guys aren't championship material and we'll never win with them as our best players so I think having a losing season might be best to get Pop to change direction. Hopefully, this also means they play the young guys more especially Walker. It's a travesty that Marco is getting the minutes over him.
Silver lining? It's the middle of ing November.
I’m not cliff jumping, but they are playing some horrible basketball. Especially defense. Like 0-82 type defense
What exactly is your point? As I said, it's not over and I'm sure Pop will get the team together as always but it just feels different this time. Also, it's Nov but still over 10% of the season and the team's issues aren't going to go away.
Silver lining? At least we got to experience 5 championships, 6 le runs and countless amounts of deep playoff runs. A whole lot of NBA fans can't say that.
on Most teams, a loss like this would lead to changes. Especially when you have talent in your own team.
Outside of trades which is unlikely...
Change #1 - bench DDR for Carrol and bench Forbes for White
Go from there...
then change #2 - Walker takes Marcos minutes.
Future lineup Would be
Murray
White
Carrol
Lyles
LMA
BENCH
Forbes/Mills
Walker
DDR
Gay
Poetle
WTF?
What have you seent this season, , ever in his career that shows Carrol is a better option than DDR?
No real silver lining bc the obvious change won’t happen. It has nothing to do with Pop either. DeRozan can’t start. He needs to come off the bench. But it’s his contract year and he wants a big payday and he will never accept that.
Why are you looking for a silver lining this early in the season? Silver linings are usually reserved for bad news. What's the bad news?
There is no Silver lining in this show.
That 2nd team will give back whatever leadthe SL build up and more.
If you mean by going in a different direction, they are going to trade la or dd, it's not going to happen..la had his salary fully guaranteed next year, if they were going to trade him they would have left it alone with the $7 mil partial guarantee to make it more attractive and dd will probably pick up his player option, no way he is going to make anywhere near $28 mil on his next contract..so it will be more of the same next year, not to mention we will lose another year on the rookies contracts because pop refuses to play the young guys...this team looks lost.
