Pels fans, where are you?
Fools gold as Spurs will rack up wins vs. MN then revert to mean soon.
Spurs' best player is averaging 9-1-1 on 33 FG in 22 MPG.
By comparison, Fatty Mills is at 14-2-3 on 46 FG in 25 MPG.
The Spurs best player played a couple of games on minutes restriction.
Yea, that must be it.
Or maybe a Division II player is reverting to the mean.
Yeah, Imma go ahead and go with the injury if you don't mind.
The funny thing is White looke quite well the minutes he played.
Nevermind, I just realized these ers are 8-8. I missed an L somewhere along the road.
Nah, Spurs are 9-8 now. They'll be 9-9 at this time tomorrow though.
Checking in before I have to check out again.
In before the Grizzlies have to play again (at this point the Grizzlies may never play again).
Heck no, we aren't.
I want to believe.
Derrick White in 7 games: 9.9 Pts on 35 FG 30 3FG. 3.9 Asts and 1.7 Rebs.
DWhite is a good role player. But nothing more. And he is not that young anymore.
He's 26. That's a full length contract worth of prime.
And while it could be argued that DW is the Spurs best player (and that he's just in an injury-induced slump), I'm giving DAF86 a hard time b/c he's really weak by team's best player standards.
Frankly, I think someone Like Lonnie or Murray would be something you could build around if the Spurs even really have that kind of player. Building around Derrick White is like building around a poor man's Avery Bradley.
So? He's clearly still rounding up to shape. White is the Spurs best player. Deal with it.
Lol wut? You don’t really believe this do you? Clearly DJ has been leaps and bounds better than him this year. Derozan as well tbh. And this is coming from a guy who isn’t a derozan fan at all.
solid arguments could be made for poetl and keldon being better than white as well.
I'm clearly not talking about this specific year, I'm talking in general. When White is back to 100% he will prove to be the Spurs' most impactful player. Like he has been the last couple of years.
Spurs will be a few games over .500 all year, especially if they break .500 on the RRT. Coming back west is where the best teams are ...but if they can break even on that trip they can afford some losses to top tier teams. They already stole one from Lakers. Spurfan hoping for a top pick, better learn to love Keldon, Vassell and Dejonte
Could be worse. Could have to root for the likes of Kyle Kzma.
