so were the Celtics, the Grizzlies and everybody else we played against. Spurs defense is one of the worst in the NBA

You can tell that the team just has zero fight in them outside of a few guys. They look miserable playing for Pop and frankly Pop looks like he doesn't even want to be there.

People being surprised by that a team that plays Beli, Forbes, Mills, Derozan huge minutes is crappy defensively. Maybe if LMA or Poetl were good enough to cover for their mistakes but those two are soft AF as well.

Just a listless team. You can’t have all the spark and leadership coming from Murray/Patty/White. That won’t cut it and someone has to do something.
They aren’t playing awful, but they can’t string together enough good stretches of defense to gain any footing. Everything is hard. Everything is from behind and no one seems to be able to really right the ship here. It’s baffling.
His contract looked good when he first started with the Spurs. Now at a later time in his tenure here it's something you have to live with. Vets' performance level declines over time and he's just not the player he once was.why the are we paying Carroll 7 million to sit on the bench every single game

It's not baffling. It's a team that quit on its coach. We see it all the time with teams every NBA season. The difference is those teams usually make a coaching change. This team won't.
