To my knowledge, CBS is the first out and they have Vassell at 82 and Wembanyama at 58.

The list is good for some popcorn conversation.
Sure hope Wembys career is similar to Timmy Dunks.
Legit Championships is all i care about.
They gave good caveats for rating Wemby at 58. Reasonable. I think he'll be top 10 easily by seasons end.

Some of the highly rated on the list by these media Sniffers, wow.

It’s time to hit Vegas. I think Spurs will surprise many. I think they are so much better last year, plus they’ll be better this year for obvious reasons. I will not discount Chet getting the ROY. He has one year practicing with the team, and expected Pop’s conservative approach on Wemby, but who knows? He might create enough space for Wemby at SF/PF position.

An interesting thing about All Rookie and ROY: they are not on the list of awards where you need to play 65 games.

    branham and wesley

there was like a 2, maybe 3 week stretch where Wesley's on-ball defense was a serious breath of fresh air, but man that died down

You gotta hope PATFO got real about that roster. Spending the next 3 years tryinc to develop these guys, plus some more rookies, next to Wemby would be a major mistake. Spurs gotta make the play offs next year or Victor's frustration will be hard to handle. The kid wants the big stage.

High-value post, powerful data, lines up for the most part with the eye test with a few exceptions.
Champagnie is surprisingly high; I suppose that’s what happens when a role player embraces his role.
Sochan’s value is still based upon perceived potential rather than results.
Branham and Wesley are not NBA players and it’s time to cut bait with them.

We should rename this thread 'the humility thread'. Nobody was safe here.

Vassell would probably drop hard since he was playing good defense the first ~30 games of the season until he got lazy and dropped off to practically Keldon level.

Wesley, in particular, came in really raw and still has possible upside, I think. I feel like we should at least bring them into camp and see what they look like after another offseason.
