The future of the Spurs now hinges on the shoulders of the committee and I like my chances

Becky Becky Becky. This was your moment.
Coaching by committee. Unreal.
No one wanted to take charge of this team and I can’t blame them.
Sounds like a 90's rap super group
Dang Pop came out blazing when they asked who was head coach after he got tossed “Timmy” the stupid reporter then responded it would have been history if Becky assumed head coaching duties - Pop responded “I am not here to make history”.
I want to see how feminists spin this one. Our super progressive coach has a perfect opportunity to make history by allowing Becky Hammon to become the first woman to coach an NBA game, yet he chooses a male assistant coach with less than 15 games under his belt.
That’s kind of bizarre actually. Is pop this checked out that he hasn’t even named someone LEAD assistant?
Yes. Gives him more power to have things disorganized when he isn’t there
Becky is not over herself
I wish somebody would ask Pop,"Why are you so cordial to opponents and opposing coaches when they curbstomp you, and so surly with us?"
Pop socialist agenda, tbh. Spurs have their own politburo.
Becky could have grabbed the bull by the balls but she is weak
Pop has always been a . But that was probably the est ing he's ever ed. They asked the exact questions they should have asked, considering how things went down. Any other coach in the league would have just answered.
It's the entertainment business, you crater-faced old wino.
On the post game show Red Mamba gave the company line that Timmy had scouted the team and since that was his responsibility it made more sense for him to be in charge even though he was not in fact in charge, as becky is next in line. CROFL
My gal Becky is not all about her ego tbh. Timmy had the info on the Blazers.
Obama told Gregg that it's not cool to be wok any more.
Duncan has 20 years of NBA experience on top of being older than Hammon. He absolutely merits the lead position over her if you're comparing resumes.
Yeah that was weird seeing all 3 of them sitting and no one standing and coaching during the game after pop left that is until Duncan did. I was ready to see Becky tbh but i love that Timmy was the one doing it towards the end.
dosent look good for becky with so much more experience that they had to "coach by committee" even tho she is technically next in line and she didn't look to be the leader
What a show. How the can you not have an official 2nd in command on the bench on an professional NBA team? What a ing embarrassment.
I can’t believe everyone kept their asses glued to the bench other than a few seconds here or there. Even Stotts looked over a few times curious as to who was going to stand up.
I put much less blame Timmy because he never really asked to be on the bench in the first place. He’s just doing Pop a favor and has only been on the coaching bench for 11 games. Plus, to me, he looked reluctant because it was kinda Beckys moment (rightfully so), and he did not want take that from her.
The fact that Becky ed out from grabbing the reins in the moment was sad to see. Maybe it was to big for her.
Still, no clear cut #2? Coaching by committee? Pop has really just created such a mess at all the way around at this point. And before “but it’s not his fault nobody took charge ”, this is just another odd thing that happened under his leadership in his old senile age.
Dude needs to go.
We tried the EC here and if failed miserably as they began to auto fellate and eventually became cannibalistic.
It's odd to see the Spurs organization this disorganized. The problem with Duncan being #2 is that he's never even coached the team prior. At least Becky and Hardy have coached the summer league teams.
I expect though for Becky to be the #2 given the length of experience being a Spurs coach. Duncan of course is older but he's not had time yet to get familiar with the position. Anyway, I don't get that there no #2. The Spurs coaching is crumbling before our very eyes!
