No one has seen what the last year of POP is, after seeing an all time great like KOBE lead a tank you know that even the greatest can do it.

Makes no sense. Why would you not trade LMA/DeRozan vs keeping them and hurting their value so you get less with teams watching them lead the Spurs to the lottery?

LMA and derozan have almost never had great trade value for the exact reasons most people on the board are capable of elucidating. Trading either will be a bitter pill, so it makes sense to delay it as long as possible, even to the point of just letting them play out the contracts. If you think an extra 13-20 pick or a mid talent player is the difference? Than by all means trade them for high value.

Absolute madness. There is so much dysfunction in this organization over the past two years. The handling of Kawhi and the poor return, the Morris situation, the bad contracts to role players that don't move the needle, questionable lineups and rotations, zigging while the rest of the league is zagging with ball-movement and the emphasis on maximizing the three point shot, draftees getting no playing time because they aren't over themselves.

Has there been a PG of the future available that they missed? The spurs can get athletic non-shooters or non athletic shooters. But both in one package? That's an all star. 2015-2016 was the zig zag against the warriors with two top 20 iso players and size to rebound. IT almost worked and then went to . What we have now is just lack of talent and small town free agency drama.

There's plenty they can be traded for that would be a better fit than they are now... What do u propose? Keeping them and sucking until their contract ends and watch them leave for nothing?

agree, thats why im into fire pop, give more minutes to young guys and tank for a top pick.
