Yeah, that's my fear. If White has a plantar fasciitis flareup again after barely playing this season, that's a really bad sign. He'd have to be on a minutes restriction in perpetuity.

Let's hope it's a different (minor) injury. And let's hope he's back before Saturday's game since Murray is likely to sit that game.
What difference does that make? The Spurs ain't winning games anyway. They could start all 3 rookies, Lonnie Walker and Metu and the results would still be the same

No, it wouldn't be the same. It would be more fun to watch.

Well, at least it sounds like White will be back sooner rather than later...

We are already there without them getting injured.

I don’t know - NO is pretty fun to watch and they are losing. Wait until Zion gets back too.

A bad injury to DeRozan or LMA would be devastating. SA needs to optimize their chances at drafting/rebuilding if they are to choose that direction. Losing LMA and/or DeRozan for nothing would hurt that. SA can’t just lose them for nothing. If all they can get is a bad contract, ok Then just let them go, but I dont think that is the case.

I hope White returns against Philly, but if we can't beat the Wizards I have little faith we can beat them. I'll root for the Spurs though.

I haven't looked too closely at the draft class, but I am pretty certain there ain't no Tim Duncan available. So, not THAT lucky.

I just meant the resulting high pick, tbh.

Can’t see us beating the 76ers with or without White the way we’ve been playing. Wonder if Pop will continue with Mills/Forbes backcourt.

    Welp.

With Murray out tomorrow night against the Knicks, perhaps the Spurs are just making sure White will be available for that game.

The fact that he was listed as questionable is a good sign that White shouldn't be out long.

That’s how I took it. They know tonight is likely a loss, so why rush him back. If the goal is to win the more winnable game, then I’d rather have White fully rested for NY as that is a winnable game (for normal teams)
