    I would not want DDR or Gay on the Floor in the last couple of minutes of a game. They just don't play smart basketball. Their offensive skills are more than cancelled out by bad defense and stupid mistakes.

    Gotta assume they lost at least 7 in a row in the 1997 lottery season. In the Duncan era, they never lost more than six in a row I think.

    I'm surprised the Spurs lost, tbh. I thought we'd see some wins to cement the Mills and Forbes backcourt.

    I guess the Mills and Forbes defense was too bad for even fate to intervene

    Or maybe Pop never was much of a defensive coach in the first place and he was just fortunate to coach teams with Duncan, Robinson, and Kawhi...three of the best defenders of all-time.
