They are one of 3 teams in the big 12 that could make the final 4.
The 4th place team has no chance imo.
recurring pattern I see with the team is that they just can't handle success. They play great as the underdog with the 'chip on the shoulder' mentality, but as soon as they get on a roll and the Final Four talks start up, they lay an egg

The longhorns have suddenly sneaked their way up the ladder. They might be a sweet 16 team after all
They will likely get beaten tonight I imagine, rarely two wins in a row, much less 3.
Bolded Again vs Baylor tonight.
Just not good enough offensively
Pathetic, clean house. Bring back Gillespie and Pat Knight, I'd even take Jason Garrett at this point
if Texas Tech doesn't make it to the Big XII championship after having such an easy path, then it's time to consider the Viability of Suicide
Watching this Texas Tech team makes me think that this must be what it was like for LSU fans to watch those Les Miles football teams a decade or so ago. Elite defense + completely inept 'ooga booga' offense tbh. Tech has these long stretches in second half where their offense is completely unwatchable.
The good: Tech gets the 3 seed.
The bad: Alabama got the 6 seed.
Very concerning.
4 seed UCLA has a nicer looking bracket with St Mary's at the 5.
Still a great season

Terrified of the Duke matchup cause there's no way the NCAA/refs are going to allow Coach K to go out against Texas Tech of all teams
A Gonzaga/Duke matchup would be a ratings wet dream. Either Coach K makes the Final Four as a last hurrah, or there's a "classy passing of the torch" storyline they can run with imo
Jeez, no kidding. They've beaten Gonzaga, Baylor, Tennessee, and Houston and are only a 6 seed? Yeah I have no idea what to expect if we end up playing them
Lol maybe the best thing I've seen all year
That is so Texas
Lol next day, same dude, another walk off in extra innings

Reports of Tech's demise greatly exaggerated.
Tech was #8 before the announcement

Of course they kick ass in a game that doesn't count

Arky still undefeated this season
Yeah, but I'm always skeptical of exhibition performances. You don't know if you're really getting your opponent's best.
gonzaga is joining the little12 in all sports
