Why on Earth would Gonzaga choose the Big XII over the Pac-10, which I think would stay together if it added Gonzaga and maybe San Diego State?
It's not tv football contracts but could be some extra pocket money from basketball tv deals

All boils down to media markets
pac12 will not get the same deal big12 just signed with fox/espn............the rumors are arizona/utah/colorado are coming to the little12 with gonzaga
That would be quite interesting... especially for Colorado which left and would be coming back to a Big 12 without the biggest names.
There's also word of Washington, Oregon and Stanford begging for the big 10 with usc and UCLA. At this point surprisingly the big 12 is more stable
