Long lines here died down pretty quickly. Way too many options. People would rather stand in line for ramen (!) or Hopdoddy. I'm never married to any plan enough to wait like that anywhere when other places just as good are next door.
Word! I'm just messing with you guys tho.

Whataburger is pretty good. Been there a few times when I was stationed in Corpus Christi. I never was a fan of In-N-Out tbh

I haven't eaten either in years. Waits feel interminable at Whataburger and P. Terry's is a smaller, more convenient In-N-Out for me.

Food fads do amuse me here, expensive and cheap.

I've also heard that Taylor Swift tickets sell out in minutes. That doesn't make me thing I'm wrong about her music being bad.
have you tried listening to her music on Beats?

The ing shakes alone make In N Out wipe the floor with Whataburger. Though there is one location on Sunset that would make the shakes so thick you'd have to let them melt ten minutes before you could get them through a straw.
the one i used to go to in northridge was the same way.

    Even in Texas:

You farmers let In-N-Out come into Texas and straight take over. Whataburger ain't . You hate to see it!!
I live about 20 minutes out of Katy here in Houston and I can tell you for a fact that Houston Whataburgers suck. Idk why but they are garbage. SA has better ones and so does Corpus. Houston people dont really do whataburger tbh.
But In and out in SA sucks too bro. Garbage fries and small ass burgers. I love the Vegas one though. That was good .

I don't know what EBT is, but I'm guessing it's some kind of food stamps. I look for low prices though

I'm guessing that too. P.Terry's is good for the low price alternative to In-N-Out in Austin.

"Low price alternative to In-N-Out" actually exists, other than McDonald's, or making your own burger out of ground beef (that you may or may not have gotten from the food pantry)..?

    Lol.

So what is the "low price alternative" to Sixth Street?

Plenty of other places in Austin.

I guess you just drink antifreeze at home.

On that scale the shakes are 20 miles worse. Also all four Whataburgers I occasionally eat at are super inconsistent. Seems like if I show up at the lunch rush the burgers will sometimes be pretty moist and flavorful but any other time they're usually overcooked and dry, whereas at In N Out the burger is always cooked to be pretty moist when I go there. Whataburger may have a way bigger menu, but all I want is burger + fries + shake or a Coke when I go to either anyways.
I go to what a burger at late hours usually if I eat fast food, 2pm or thereabouts. I don’t visit In and Out anymore because I really don’t like them as much. It’s obviously very subjective but I usually go to one WB in SA, and one when I’m fishing down at the coast. But neither a whole lot.

I usually destroy the salad bar at Jason’s Deli when I’m really hungry after excessive biking, running or swimming. I would kill myself at a burger joint at these times so I don’t touch it.
