Bill Land had just gotten through saying that the Spurs should get the last shot of the quarter. And DJ tosses that airball early in the clock. I'm really surprised the Wolves didn't drain one to punish the stupid.

Oof, that airballed 3 by DJ... Pop's coaching has to be put in question when every single Spurs player except for Marco, Patty and Forbes are afraid to shoot the god damned basketball. Everyone's thinking way too much about it, it's ing with their game. It's very noticeable on an aggressive player like DJ but White is also getting caught up in it, when his aggressiveness was a strength for him last season.
If I had to guess, I'd say Pop is trying way too hard to get back to 2014 and is preaching the "pass first, only shoot great looks" mentality, when he doesn't have the personnel for that style of play at all.
