Where are all the sniffers and slurpers at. Let's not get ahead of ourselves though it's only one game, let's see if Skywalker can be consistent but there is no doubt he is miles better than Mills, Marco, and Forbes.

How much longer b4 he'll be starting over that midget Forbes??
They may just go three guards plus DeRozan and Aldridge.

It's hard to take Forbes out of the lineup after has was the best offensive player in the biggest win of the year.

Walker goes for 28 even though he was scoreless until less than two minutes remaining in the third...

    Lonnie has the tools, obviously.

Last year was a bummer with the knee issue cropping up - the U of Miami medical staff screwed up his knee when he was a freshman and the Spurs had to clean up their mess last year. With good health he can be really good in the future.

He can get anywhere he wants to go on the court.

Nah he clearly has talent, is physically gifted, and is very young still. He’s barely getting an opportunity. I am sure people will say he needs to be consistent but let’s see the minutes be consistent first.

So if Walker emerges, DeRozan may become expendable.

Where do the Spurs go from here? Does he usurp White/Forbes in the starting lineup or does Pop just play him off the bench.

Wish I could have seen it...... damn Dish Network / Fox Sports SW......

I hope you can find a copy of it to watch. Really incredible performance by Lonnie. He absolutely put the team on his shoulders - something I haven't said about a Spur in years.

You might want to fast forward through the 3rd.

Member when people equated playing Lonnie/White/Murray more to tanking since they would be taking “vets” time .

Except Daye was a finished product and much older. The two situations aren't even comparable.

For the Record... Pop was right. He wasn't ready. The day he was ready I posted to FKLA. There was no cover up. Early in the season he hadn't found his peace. No matter what your philosophy is about playing time all that matters is he has arrived.

Y'all act like he was ready for this the whole season. He wasn't. He is now.He said it himself the "non compe ive" talk motivated him. He ain't soft. He got that superstar mentality. He was born for this.

I've always said that they would be at least as well off. I think they could can Beli and replace him with Keldon and be ahead. I understand that Keldon needs work, and I still believe it.

Agree. At a minimum it would inject youth and fire and compe ive spirit into a team that obviously needs it.

I would rather have seen him learn it on the court. What could have happened - the Spurs might lose?
