Don't believe it. Bonner in crunch time makes DeRozan look like Jordan.
Give me Bonner every day of the week tbh

Really seems like Carroll said something nasty about Pop's wife.
Lyles finding his role on the team, Carroll’s inability to figure out the system (said by Pop), and then Carroll’s 4 quick turnovers last game seem to be the reason he isn’t seeing minutes.

    White looks hobbled out there.
I think he's pretty banged up. Let's hope this 5 day reprieve really helps him.

If it’s the PF bothering him, he might not ever be 100% all year imo.

This is Bonners ONE clutch playoff moment as a Spur. In 10 plus years, with all his playing time, this was it. One.

It's become painfully obvious Demar has to go. He can't control his emotions and is a giant liability on D. Move him. It clarifies the guard rotations a bit more as well and allows Blockob and LMA to play together.

Matty would have had a different reputation after this if Porky didn’t hero ball and RJ didn’t miss an open 3. Luckily, Matty bounced back against the Lakers and Grizzlies two years later.

    Wow, truth bomb!

2-1000000 in his playoff life, tbh lol. Which, come to think of it, might be better than DeRozan in the playoffs lol.

Even on a night where Demar hits 3s, he still can’t win the fans on here. not that I’m suddenly lobbying for him to stay, but there’s still “trade Demar” posts after this.

Meanwhile, Murray needs to figure out how to dribble, pass, run an offense and shoot. Pretty essential for a point guard.

Exactly, Randolph butt- ed Bonner right after those threes. And we would've won had our Lord and Savior Manu had played that series, tbh.

Yeah, but Pop really needs enroll in "Rotations 101." Come to think of it, a CCE (Continuing Coaching Education) requirement might be a good idea.

Pop and the front office aren't cutthroat enough to do that. like say Bill Belichick or Phil Jackson; they would get rid of him in a heart beat

I wish Pop can give Carroll some burn this game. When no one is playing well, maybe carroll can bring the edge
Really seems like Carroll said something nasty about Pop's wife.
    Or he just sucks.

Dude has been awful in the limited playing time he has gotten. That's not on Pop.

Pop not playing Tiago against Gasol and Randolph when they were destroying Bonner, McDyess, and Blair.

Of course. Bonner was always raped in the POs. Pop went with the patented game 5/6 oh well let’s finally put player X (splitter) in the game that can help and should’ve been playing all series.

I'm convinced 90% of people just come here to these days. The Spurs just had an exciting overtime win and this thread is still all "fire pop, we should be tanking" posts.

This game was a close contest because Derrick and Dijon were BOTH awful. I was bummed by the realization that Pop may have had to go with the lesser of 2 evils at the end.
