too bad. Walker was clearly getting better every game played

Its not a good sign that your 85 year old senile coach has better knees than you.

He is a poor mans Brandon Roy qt this point. Spurs needs to use him until his wheels fall off which will be pretty soon then dump him. but dont put any effort to retain or babysit this broken peg. use it till it breaks and move on

    it is what it is.

Right knee. My guess would be meniscus related

Lots of alarmism in this thread for a guy who reinjured it without making contact or even high force impact. Seem like likely a tweak, tbh.

DeJounte’s ACL tear was non contact. Shaun livingston’s Horrific total kee blowout in 2006 was non contact.

Why the are people cliff-jumping ITT as if a sentencing report came out on Lonnie's injury? Him injuring his knee a year ago doesn't mean that every tweak is a torn meniscus, tbh. At least wait for an official statement before getting your panties in a bunch...

The guy has had two meniscus surgeries (same knee) already. His first meniscus surgery literally allowed us to draft him so low. No cliff jumping, just real concern by fans on a fan message board, tbh.

Walker has been icing his knee the last few games, too. I know Chinook and a few others noticed.

Hopefully just something minor and he got spooked because it's his bad knee.
If it turns out to be false alarm, minor it’s still concerning his knee is acting up with so few minutes to his name so far this season. I Expect minutes restrictions and load management on that knee and probably well justified, which is the sad point.

Definitely worrisome, I think it’s just a false alarm and it’s only smart to treat his knees on sidelines anyways... we just need to keep him away from guys like Aron Baynes lol

Thanks for that. Contusion is the best news we could have hoped for. I didn't see contact on the play he pulled up lame, so maybe it really was the effects of that earlier collision with Baynes.

PRP seems to work especially for young guys.

    https://www.caringmedical.com/prolot...iscus-surgery/

but our Medical Staff of Doc Yokal may not believe in it or something

You spent all last night insisting it was a torn ACL, like you knew something.
Now you looked up treatment for a contusion, and post it like you know something.

    off. No, really. off.

That’s what I assumed. Thought it was a knee contusion
I figured it was a knee contusion from the start. Wasn’t non-contact he was just still feeling the pain from the earlier play when he bumped it.

It's mostly bad luck obviously, but can this organization find a promising young player that doesn't have durability concerns?

It seems like no matter how good he might become, he'll never be able to shoulder something like a 32-34 mpg, 75-80 game load.
