We had to come pretty close against D'Antoni Suns teams.
This has got to be an All Time Spurs record. If not, tell us which game was better by the starters.
Starters
44-59 fg's
9-13 treys
9-10 FT's
Can one of you much better at math then me do the true shooting % formula?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/True_shooting_percentage
For that matter the starters and bench combined?
We had to come pretty close against D'Antoni Suns teams.
Shooting 90% in the first quarter in the finals against Miami in 2014 was more impressive
It was a new team record. Just edged out a game against Orlando last December.
Points = 145
Free throw attempts = 14
14 × 0.44 = 6.16
Field goal attempts = 89
89 + 6.16 = 95.16
2 × 95.16 = 190.32
145 ÷ 190.32 = 0.762
In percent, 76.2%
That's for the game.
how many dunks did they give up?
That looks right. According to Basketball Reference that's 6th highest game TS% ever.
In the past, when the Spurs come out and hit everything they look at, the next game they can't hit a damn thing and get killed. It's almost universal. So there's something to look forward to.
A set up to get stomped by the Mavs. There's an old saying, variety is the e of life. Wish Pop would apply that to his rotations.
What goes up must go down?
Oh well it was a nice Christmas gift.
Before Silver ed the league.
No defense was played at all so actually not impressed with the record
Grizzleys lmao
Fourth place all time by eFG% too. Though for some reason, ordering this by TS% puts last night's game at 10th, not 6th.

Nothing like having record shooting nights against teams in games that don't really matter, to stave off the pitchforks and torches.
Do any of the sites do TS% for starters only?
This Spurs game has to have been #1 or near #1 All Time for any NBA team.
Any of the sites show eFG% for starters only?
Back to the whole team, how in the H did 3 teams finish above this Spurs (4th all time) game for eFG? (Site does not show box score, only final score.)
You just pull out the starter stats. Like from here:
https://www.basketball-reference.com...912230MEM.html
Points = 106
Field goal attempts = 59
Free throw attempts = 10
Then plug into the formula.
10 × 0.44 = 4.4
59 + 4.4 = 63.4
2 × 63.4 = 126.8
106 ÷ 126.8 = 0.83596 call it 83.6%.
