Green Bay and Seattle would be the worst 1-2 seeds in recent history. Seattle has had a ton of luck in close games and GB isn't great at any facet of football.

Saints and 49ers are comfortably better, but it's the NFL, the best team often doesn't win.

    **UPDATED WITH TRENT DILFER ADDED***

    2004 Tom Brady - 109.4
    2014 Tom Brady - 100.3
    2016 Tom Brady - 97.7
    2018 Tom Brady - 85.8
    2003 Tom Brady - 84.5
    2000 Trent Dilfer - 83.7
    2001 Tom Brady - 77.3
    2015 Peyton Manning - 75.4
    2006 Peyton Manning - 70.5

So actually Brady only Dilfered his way to 1 out of 6 superbowls, while Peyton Dilfered his way to 2 out of 2

Julian Edelman is arguably the most overrated WR of all time
Not an argument I'd make, tbh.

Comparing Peyton's playoff performances to Dilfer is an insult to Dilfer, tbh.
    You beat me to it.

Is it really "Dilfering" when you actually play a lot worse than Dilfer did?

It should be called Peytoning instead, tbh.

Seattle can't get the 2 seed now because they have 4 losses and GB/NO have 3.

Right, that's correct. Well hopefully SF wins so the Saints won't get a bye

I'll give Peyton credit for Dilfering in 2015. He was basically just plain mus that year and allowed himself to get carried by a stud defense without ing too much up.

2006 however I agree might be an insult to Dilfer, Dilfer would be too embarrassed to accept a ring for a playoff run where he threw 3 TDs and 7 interceptions

I think the Saints players are mostly a band of cool guys, but i'd like them to miss out to spite their annoying fans.

How do so many people lick Peyton’s balls as furiously as they do?
The same reason why CP0 and Harden get slurped so much. Some people are easily impressed by losers with nice regular season stats.

Brady Dilfered his way to half of his superbowls and Manning Dilfered his way to his only two superbowls
Just goes to show you how circunstances play a factor on how we perceive these players.

2007 Brady >>>>>>>>> 2001 Brady. Yet the 2001 version is the one that won the SB.

2003 and 2018 Brady doesn't enter the Dilfer zone just because they have him beat by a couple of pts?

2018 Brady put up 37 points against the Chiefs and 41 points against the Chargers while averaging over 300 yards passing over 3 playoff games. It just so happens that the 4 touchdowns scored against the Chiefs were all running plays.

So no, to answer your question. I think saying that Brady's 2018 playoff run was Dilfering is ing re ed.

Pretty rare for QB’s to Peyton their way to a ring. Roethlisberger & Elway both got one, after that you probably gotta go to the 60’s to find QB’s playing that bad and getting carried to a ring.
Struggle Peytoned his way to a ring against Peyton

Has anyone really duplicated Peyton's 2006 performance to win a superbowl

    3 touchdowns and 7 interceptions

Those are Jameis Winston level numbers.

Peyton's "cir stances" usually involved going one-and-done in the playoffs with stacked teams.

Struggle threw for 3 touchdowns and no interceptions that year.

Again, I'd say he Dilfered it, but it was by no means a Peyton-esk superbowl run where he took active measures to make his team lose only for it to still win

blaming Peyton's playoff bed ting on "cir stances"

What cir stances made it so he had a 2013 Broncos team that he broke the regular season scoring record with yet when superbowl time came around, he wasn't able to do anything other than bend over, lube up, and let Pete Carroll/the legion of boom punish every hole in his body for 60 minutes

43-8 against on a neutral field against a team that had the same regular season record the Broncos had

My favorite "cir stances" are when he the bed against Billy Volek at home and then choked against an 8-8 team in consecutive years.
