Missed the game last night but I'm glad to know that Walker got the start over Forbes. But...any word on why Murray was gone? I see it said "personal reasons" but have there been any rumors as to what those personal reasons would be? Family member death? Did he have the s?

Carroll can barely move, brah. There's a legit reason why he isn't playing. He might be even worse than Pondexter was last year.

kid is incredible. Just scored the last 6 points for the Austin team to pull out the win in OT. He's super strong going to the rim, they can't guard him in the G-League

At least, hopefully, this will be the lineup going forward:

Murray, LWIV, DDR, Lyles, LMA
Mills, Forbes, White, Gay, Poeltl

Gay should start and Carroll/Lyles and to a lesser extent, Forbes/Belineli, should be situational decisions.

Gay does make more sense as a starter, with lyles is the backup 4.

I am not sold on Lyles as a rotation player but he did play pretty well with the bench, the last time that pop tinkered with the lineups.

Carroll played PF each of the last two seasons and was actually good. Still baffling why he hasn't gotten the chance to play, let alone playing at the 4.

In an ideal scenario:

Murray, Walker, DDR, Gay, and LMA
Mills, White, Carroll, Lyle's, Jakob

Pop probably wouldn't DNP both Forbes and Belinelli though.

Gays defense isn't good enough to be in starting 5. There's games even off the bench he struggling on D.

Wish Pop would only play him when he got it going but when he looks step slow...- just ice him for that game

Yes. Personally, that's what I wish Pop would do but I doubt it. Who knows? Maybe Pop will once Forbes and Belli inevitably lose enough games to keep the Spurs out of the playoffs.
