You can feel that way in Memphis, but not Tokyo.
Points in paint. There is no help defense or defensive rebounding advantage when you have lma out there or gay. Trade those two.

Saric is an unathletic stiff, tbf. Samanic has a much higher ceiling. Clarke would've been nice though.
this was best case scenario tbh. draft pick and DDR trade value are the main assets, and they both appreciated
individually, derozan's efficiency/scoring streak is pretty nuts

I don't think the last games were a fluke but it was obvious the Spurs' shooting would come down to earth eventually... Just when the Grizzlies' skyrocketed. They buried us tonight. Very lacking defense from the Spurs and unimpressive play by the young core. I would like so much for the Spurs to drop Pop as soon as possible - he seems to instill fear in the youngins. All three displayed confidence at first only to be rid of it and turn into unaggressive, pass-happy players to the chucking team vets. Kind of scary to watch.
Might have been Murray's worst game, and White wasn't far behind. Lonnie didn't outperform his customary tiny minute fraction.

Y'all sleeping on the Grizzlies. They've recently beat the Clippers and the surging Thunder. A hard fought loss against them in Memphis isn't a bad loss. There was plenty of fight from the Spurs.

This is the reason Spurs lost. The Griz guards are fast and no one on SA could guard them. Plus Griz center and their PFs bullied ours.

While Lonnie did not have a good game and at times was lost on defense, I still 100% support Walker playing 30+ minutes a a game and Bryn Forbes under 15 minutes a game.
Walker combined in college, g-league, and NBA has totaled a little more than half the minutes Forbes did in college.
He needs time to develop, on court minutes.
As he plays more, he'll be improving.
I just gave you a shout out in another thread. You're the ignorant sucker who crowed about the +/- last game, when Forbes was positive. Well tonight White was the only rotation player with a positive +/-, and Forbes was -13.

Before tonight, the Spurs were 5 games out of 7th, and 4 games out of 14th. Now 5 1/2 out of 7th and 3 games out of 14th.
Pop's got it figured out, Forbes is wonderful, and DDR needs to be traded no matter how good he plays. Just so many good takes to choose from.
