Because of course.
He is back and likely to pulverize at least one Spur on a dunk coming back next Wed. No surprise he picked a team to go against that does not defend well.

NEW ORLEANS -- As the NBA regular-season debut for Zion Williamson draws near, the New Orleans Pelicans now have a targeted date in mind.
Pelicans executive vice president of basketball operations David Griffin said Wednesday that the team anticipates Williamson will make his debut at home on Jan. 22 against the San Antonio Spurs....
Williamson did play in four preseason games in October and averaged 23.3 points while shooting 71.4 percent from the floor in those games. His final preseason game was actually against the Spurs -- the same team he's set to come back against.
Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said the team obviously has some Williamson-focused lineups in mind, but also added that regular-season NBA and preseason NBA are two different things.
"It's something obviously that we've thought about and looked at and experimented some in the preseason, but this is really completely different than the preseason," Gentry said. "It's a tough situation. I'm sure he'll handle it. I'm sure he'll be very good at it. But it will be an adjustment period."
While the team obviously focused on the knee injury itself, they did take time to fix other things as well.
"You're addressing everything," Griffin said. "You're addressing ankle flexion, and knees and hips and backs and everything else. I think what's happened is his whole kinetic chain is in a whole better position now because of this....
Meanwhile Demarre carroll has yet to play any meaningful minutes for the spurs. I wonder what's going on
Let's be sure Amused starts the game thread, and keep our fingers crossed.
This is the matchup the Spurs have been saving Carroll for.....
I vote he will dunk on Mills or Forbes first
No sweat, we got all-world defender brent forms to neutralize that ass.
Is it illegal to use a defender as a human trampoline?
No Player in NBA History has the same stats as this fat ass...
His knees won't handle a long career.
It just had to be this way
He will get his dunk and the home crowd would love it. But Spurs got this. 116 - 106 Spurs.
It’s stunning that those knees have gotten him this far
I agree but until his knees give out he’ll be fun to watch
Took off the Rockets/Nuggets game from the ESPN Wednesday double header. Also its in New Orleans Stein made a typo

Then he'll tear his ACL after landing
Crazy how teams don’t learn from the past. Pelicans get Greg Oden 2.0 while the Grizzlies got a stud like Morant
He's not going to be Oden 2. It would be kind of hard to see him playing too far past 30, though. If his management team was smart, they'd tell him to limit himself to like 1 rim rocking dunk per game, and the rest of the time use his body to shield his shot get layups.
This offense gonna give the spurs fits
He’s not really like Oden injury wise. But he will be in and out of games if he doesn’t lose weight.
Zion reminds me a lot of Larry Johnson. Their styles are very very similar. They are the same height but Zion is 25lbs heavier right now. He needs to lose that weight if he wants to have a good career. Some people compare him to Barkley but IMO he’s way more similar to LJ.
I’m not talking playing style. Yeah he is very reminiscent of Grandma. Especially pre-injury. I’m talking more like the Oden situation. Zion is always going to be hurt in some way or another. And Morant is a stud and people will say imagine if Zion didn’t get injured how good he would be. But nobody is going to wonder how good Ja is going to be bc he’s gonna ball out.
Was a good draft pick provided they would have had him pork down from 285 to 230-235. Not hard to do for multimillionaires with time and free trainers.
Maybe not bad knees but rather carrying too much mass.
