I think most knew this wasn’t an easy win as we’ve been losing to lottery teams all season. It’s the inconsistency of this team that is more frustrating. Was the Rockets game a turning point? Nope. Was beating the top 2 teams in the East back to back a turning point? Nope. Just the same old inconsistencies.

True but at the same time it was evident that entire season that Nephew was carrying too much of a load and was the only superstar on the team. If the reports about wanting Paul George in SA were true, the front office should have been more aggressive about it. But no, they doubled down on declining role players Gasol and Mills, signed a washed up Rudy gay and invested more time in a pseudo star player in Aldridge who kept complaining about his touches. I would have wanted to leave too.

It is one thing that this team is terribly constructed. It's quite another that the man who constructed it, keeps playing the worst possible combinations of the very players he has chosen for the team.
