The main story on ESPN website is a breakdown of Williamson's entire offensive repertoire. Seriously they compiled a 500 word essay on his every move and how we fans should view them. This kid is going to carry the networks for years to come revenue wise

People are coming into the game talking about Zion, but will leave the game talking about Walker.

Would be nice at least, but that means Walker would need to actually play decent minutes to be able to make an impact. So its not likely.

If Zion stays healthy and is as impactful as expected, Pelicans. Otherwise the Guests prolly sneak in.
Agreed on both counts. Spurs have a tough schedule down the stretch of the season. RRT is pretty brutal this year, especially with OKC being much better than expected. Don’t think we have enough defense or firepower to overcome that.

Pels also have the 2nd easiest remaining schedule in the entire league.. only behind ATL. Blazers have the 8th toughest though, but once they get Collins back they’ll improve. And if they get Nurkic back healthy by March, they’ll have a good chance at the 8 spot imo.

Blazers still have a top 10 player in the league and are getting back one of the best bigs in the league. If Ariza has anything left in the tank or they can trade for a decent enough wing defender their SOS won't matter.

Well, I hope Forbes is bringing his big boy pants for this game, because he probably will have to defend Zion for most of the game.
He will guard JJ Red and JJ will light him up cause Forbes can't even guard Yogi Ferrell

If Pop would be smart, he would start Poeltl and LMA together. Obviously Poeltl on Zion to take him out of the game early, so he cant get in rhymth. After that go back to the normal rotation, just cut forbes minutes in favor of Lonnie.

You have to wonder if Zion will hit the 'Rookie wall' by the time the playoffs start. He is young, but it is still a lot of games in the next 3 months.

Get Zion to switch on Aldridge and dump it to LA in the post. He will have a tough time guarding him and itwill likely tire him out

look at the Spurs very own clown prince of basketball,
Bryn Forbes. Should be a fun night.

It’s funny they picked the Spurs for his first back. Pels must be thinking the Spurs are the perfect confidence builder Zion. Disrespectful.

Go Spurs! It's hard to get to speed in the NBA. I'm sure they have prepared Zion and we'll see what it is. Glad it's his first game back.

This would be the perfect night for Forbes to go off so that others will be intrigued by him and start offering spurs trade offers for him.

Are we sure the Pels are actually playing another "team?" I haven't read any press mentioning we'll be playing tonight. Are you sure?

Asked how he's prepared Spurs for Zion, Pop jokes: "I got no worries. I have a couple of guys [Forbes and Beli] who will probably stop him tonight. If he gets over five points, I’m going to be pretty angry with our guys."
