And my point is, yes they do if their choice is to come in for influenza without a mask during a Covid outbreak. Doctors ARE NOT confined to hospitals, they have private practices. Do you understand? A poor health choice is not wearing a mask. And the choice to not wear a mask goes BEYOND that individual. This is an infectious disease. And yes, doctors in private practice would rather know individuals that have influenza not come sit in their waiting room with other people who are very likely to be immunocompromised because of age and or general health. People who are on chemotherapy have to be very careful where they go before COVID came around.
Welcome to what a really infectious disease has taught people. PUBLIC HEALTLH is important.
One way is preferable to the other because it protects robustly against the worst outcomes.

The vaccines are very effective at preventing or reducing disease. They were never going to prevent infection because vaccines don't do that. That's the science.
